Personal (Sound) Space

Personal (Sound) Space is an installation developed for the Perspective in Design module in the Design & Computation program at TU Berlin and UdK Berlin.

The project asked a simple question: can personal space be shaped by sound, not only by physical distance?

The work grew out of research into spatial perception, brain activity, and the way sound crosses boundaries that architecture and social distance usually define more rigidly. Instead of treating personal space as a fixed radius around the body, the project approached it as something unstable and relational.

This page is mainly here as documentation of the project and its research background.
